Rafiki Safari Lodge is the blend of a lost
African country's nostalgia with the mesmerizing beauty of Costa
Rica. Think of the ambience of the place that's named Rafiki
meaning friend in Swahili. The Boshoff family settled in USA in
1987 but the longing of their African country and the serenity of
Costa Rica tropicals got them to establish Rafiki Safari lodge in
1999.
Location
Rafiki Safari Lodge is a luxury tent camp of 9 tents on the
periphery the Manuel Antonio rainforest of scenic Costa Rica. It is
quaintly nestled on a natural plateau, overlooking the pristine
hilltops. It rests beautifully along the Savegre River, 30km
towards the south of Quepos. Rafiki aptly captivates the wilderness
of the forest around it and provides the perfect country getaway to
its visitors.

well from the insects and sometimes treacherous weather. Each tent
has its own private bath area with showers that are fire heated.
The large windows bring the sounds and the smells of the forest in.
You can enjoy the refreshing views of forest, river and hilltops
from a private porch.
