Major Cuisines
Costa Rica's staple food includes Casado ingrained with meshed
rice, beans, stewed beef, fried plantain, besides, salads and
cabbages. Sopa Negra, another staple food is ingrained with black
beans and a poached egg.
Ideal time to visit
Costa Rica is best to visit from late December to mid April. As
this is a peak time and tourists throng in large numbers, it often
results in accommodation problem, besides prices are also too
high.
