Location
Situated to the east of the country, Limon province spreads over

Puerto Limon is the capital city of the province and has been
considered as the second largest city in the country. Puerto Limon
is the most important port in Costa Rica.

October. A yearly Carnival known as Dia de las Culturas is
celebrated in October draws many people from far-flung places. At
this point of season thousands of tourists flocked the place.
Limon is dotted with beautiful pristine beaches, coral reefs,
national reserves, cliffs, botanical gardens and canals. It has
ample tourist attractions. It is well connected with San Jose and

Park and La Amistad International Park.
